Foundations

The Brad Kaminsky Foundation was set up in memory of Brad Kaminsky, who died of brain tumour. The Foundation's mission is to raise awareness of brain tumors and raise funds for research so that effective treatments and ultimately, A CURE, may be found.

The Frank Fredericks Foundation was founded in 1999. The Foundation is aimed to help sportsmen and sportswomen excel in sport, and also helping them develop their other capabilities by giving young, talented Namibians an opportunity for furthering their education by creating scholarship opportunities in Namibia and elsewhere.

The Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation is founded by Jackie Joyner-Kersee and her husband, Bob Kersee. Its mission is to provide youth, adults, and families with the resources to improve their quality of life and to enhance communities worldwide, with special attention directed to East St. Louis, Illinois. It operates programs at the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Center and three community locations: Lincoln Middle School and the Orr-Weathers Public Housing Complex in East St. Louis and Lovejoy School in Brooklyn, Illinois.

The Joan Mitchell Foundation was established in 1993 to fulfill the ambitions of Joan Mitchell to aid and assist the needs of painters and sculptors. The Foundation annually awards grants to painters and sculptors, supports outside programming such as workshops and residencies serving individual artists.

The Justin Hines Foundation was founded to raise awareness for individuals with disabilities who are in need. The Foundation provides musical performances at corporate events/fundraisers, inspirational/motivational speaking for special events and premium co-sponsorships and association/organization alignment, among others.

The Roger Federer Foundation was founded by tennis player Roger Federer in 2003. It aims to help disadvantaged people and to promote sports to young people. It also focuses on financing selected projects in the field of schooling and education for impecunious children and also promoting sports for the youth in Switzerland by means of suitable measures.

The Folon Foundation was created by the late Belgian artist, Jean-Michel Folon. The Foundation's mission is to unite and conserve a heritage of the many artworks donated by Jean-Michel Folon. It also presents a permanent exhibition of the works of Jean-Michel Folon in their diversity of themes and techniques.

The Chaka Khan Foundation is a public charity organization. Its vision is to help find a cure for autism and give children at risk greater opportunities.The Foundation is dedicated to assisting women and children at risk with a particular emphasis on Education and Autism.

The Bob Marley Foundation Ltd. USA is a not for profit 501 (C) (3) charitable organization founded by the Mrs. Rita Marley O.D. and the Marley Family. The Foundation seeks to maintain a dynamic foundation which will enable individuals, groups, and/or communities in developing nations to create and implement programs that assist in the empowerment of the oppressed and the elimination of generational poverty through sustainable projects.

The Bill Hicks Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned and injured wildlife, especially mammals and marsupials. Funds raised by the Foundation are used for the purchase and construction of proper caging, housing, feeding, and supplies for wildlife; payment for their medical treatments and supplies; and assisting with the costs of vaccines, among others.
