Foundations

The Victor Salvi Foundation was established in 2000. It aims to promote the harp to a wider audience through a variety of programs and activities related to the instrument and its music. It also supports the International Harp Archives at Brigham Young University in Utah, the largest harp archive in the world.

The Patrick O'Brien Foundation is set up to promote awareness of a currently incurable illness, Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis (known also as ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease). It is established in honor of Patrick Sean O'Brien — an artist diagnosed with ALS at the uncommonly early age of 30. Patrick is also one of the Board of Directors of the Foundation.

The Bernard van Leer Foundation was founded by the late philanthropist, Bernard van Leer. The Foundation aims to improve opportunities for children up to age 8 who are growing up in socially and economically difficult circumstances. It receives the bulk of its income from the Van Leer Group Foundation, a charitable entity based in the Netherlands.

The Foundation aims to promote understanding and cooperation among the nations and peoples of Asia and the United States. The Foundation receives support from individuals, corporations and philanthropic organizations.

The Ryan Newman Foundation was established in 2005 by Ryan and Krissy Newman. The Foundation aims to reduce the euthanization of unwanted animals, help non-profit organizations preserve wildlife and their environment - and provide scholarships to students.

The Geraldine Rockefeller Dodge Foundation was created in 1974. The mission of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation is to support and encourage those educational, cultural, social and environmental values that contribute to making our society more humane and our world more livable.

The Tony Hawk Foundation was established in 2002 by skateboarder and entrepreneur, Tony Hawk. The Foundation supports recreational programs with a focus on the creation of public skateboard parks in low-income communities.

The Kirsch Foundation was founded by Steven and Michelle Kirsch in 1999. The Foundation aims to cure major diseases, save the world from potential total destruction and cleaning up the air.

The Spencer Foundation was established in 1962 by Lyle M. Spencer. The Foundation is intended to investigate ways in which education, broadly conceived, can be improved around the world. It has been dedicated to the belief that research is necessary to the improvement in education.

The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation was founded by the late entrepreneur and philanthropist, Ewing Marion Kauffman. Its vision is to foster a society of economically independent individuals who are engaged citizens, contributing to the improvement of the communities. The Foundation focuses on advancing entrepreneurship and improving the education of children and youth.
