Guitarists & Bassists

Robbie McIntosh is a guitarist. He has played with many artists including Paul Young, Tears for Fears, Cher, Boyzone and Tina Arena. He has also done some session work with Paul McCartney.

Morris Acevedo is a guitarist. He has with Joshua Redman, Jim Black, Ken Vandermark, and the Either Orchestra. He was a guest lecturer in Jazz Improvisation at the University of California at Berkeley.

Stephen Bruton is a guitarist. He has produced albums for numerous artists including Alejandro Escovedo, Marcia Ball, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, and Hal Ketchum. He is also a songwriter, singer, and actor.

Jim Campilongo is a guitarist. His album "Heaven Is Creepy" includes a special guest appearance by Grammy Award winning singer, Norah Jones. He currently lives in Brooklyn.

Jimmy Herring is a guitarist. He started playing guitar at the age of 13. He is the lead guitarist in the band "Widespread Panic". He has also played with Kofi Burbridge, Count Mbutu, and Matt Mundy.

David Landon is a guitarist. He has played in the bands of many musicians including Melvin Seals, Lenny Williams, Bobby Reed, and Earl Thomas. He is also a producer.

Brian Seeger is a jazz guitarist. He has performed and recorded with numerous artists including Aaron Neville, Charlie Hunter, Chris Wood, Jason Marsalis, and Davell Crawford. He was also a guest clinician and teacher at many other jazz camps, colleges and schools.

Roland Guerin is a bassist. He has collaborated with trumpeter Nicholas Payton, guitarist Mark Whitfield, pianist Peter Martin, and drummer Donald Edwards. He also tours, performs, and records with Marcus Roberts.

George Porter Jr. is a bassist. He has worked with artists such as Paul McCartney, Jimmy Buffett, David Byrne, Patti LaBelle, Robbie Robertson and Tori Amos. His albums include "It's Life", "Funk N' Go Nuts" and "Count On You", among others.

Lonnie Mack is a guitarist. He has recorded with several blues and R&B artists like Hank Ballard, Freddie King and James Brown. He has played in many places from tiny roadhouse clubs to huge rock showcases and national television.
