Musicians

Tom Sauber, Brad Leftwich, and Alice Gerrard are musicians. They have appeared at numerous festivals such as the Alaska Folk Festival, Appalachian String Band Music Festival, Big Muddy Folk Festival, and Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival. They started their collaboration as a group in 1994.

Brad Peterson is a songwriter and musician. He has toured and played with Jeff Buckley, Cake, The Wallflowers, and Alanis Morrisette. He has played in a range of settings from solo acoustic to full band.

Ben Johnson is a musician. He is classically trained, and holds a music degree from Belmont University. He also tours nationally as the vocal coach for "The Lion King".

Brad Dutz is a musician. His music can be heard in movies such as Star Trek 5, Ocean's Eleven, Transformers and Run Down, among others. He has studied many instruments including ongas, berimbau, bata, bones, tabla, and kanjira.

Ryan McIntyre is a musician. He won the WAMI as Male Vocalist of the Year in 2005. He has performed with artists such as James Taylor and Paul McCartney.

Darol Anger is a musician. He's a violinist, fiddler, composer, producer and educator. He has worked with various musicians such as Stephane Grappelli, Mark O'Connor, David Grisman, Tony Rice, Bela Fleck and Vassar Clements.

Chris Carter is a musician. He has toured universities and colleges with a solo, multimedia show playing self-built synthesizers and keyboards. He is also a photographer and graphic designer.

Paquito d'Rivera is a musician. He plays the Cuban alto saxophonist, clarinetist and soprano saxophonist. He is a recipient of the National Medal for the Arts, presented at the White House by President George W. Bush in 2005.

Yusef Lateef is a musician and composer. He plays the tenor saxophone, flute, oboe and taiwan koto. He won a Grammy for his recording of "Yusef Lateef’s Little Symphony".

Michael Brook is a musician. He is also a record producer and soundtrack composer. His music can be heard on many film scores including “Black Hawk Down”, “Mission Impossible 2”, and “The Pledge”.
