Percussionists

Ben Wittman is a percussionist. He has recorded and performed with a wide range of artists including Paul Simon, Laurie Anderson, Jonatha Brooke, Rosanne Cash, and Don Byron. His overseas tours include Europe, the UK, Asia and South America.

Jeff Siegel is a percussionist. He regularly performs throughout Europe at festivals, clubs and concerts. He is the head of the percussion department of the National Guitar Workshop.

Richie Barshay is a percussionist. He has played with numerous artists including The Klezmatics, Kenny Werner and Chick Corea. He released his recording debut "Homework" in 2005.

Marlon Simon is a percussionist. He started his career by performing locally in New York and Philadelphia. He is recipient of the Philadelphia music foundation grant for outstanding talent and contribution to music.

Jamey Haddad is a percussionist. He was one of two Americans who performed in the "World Drums" at the 1988 Olympics in Calgary, Canada. He is also the co-creator of many musical instruments such as the Hadgini, the Hadjira, the Hadjenga, and the Kohabata Drums.

Pernell Saturnino is a Grammy award nominee percussionist. He has performed in festivals, concerts and in clubs throughout the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, China and Africa. He is the recipient of The Latin Percussion Award in 1994.

Richie Gajate-Garcia is a percussionist. He has recorded on soundtracks to films such as “The Italian Job", "Maid in Manhattan", and "The Mummy Returns". He has also toured the world as a top clinician for "Latin Percussion Inc." and "Sabian Cymbals Ltd.".

Richie Bastar is a percussionist. He has visited countries like England, Switzerland, Spain, Germany and Venezuela. He is also chosen by the "Pearl" percussion instrument company as one of its representative artists.

Bill Summers is a percussionist. He has performed and recorded with a wide variety of artists including Anita Baker, Arsenio Hall, Carlos Santana, Kenny Loggins, Madonna, and Quincy Jones, among others. He is also the founder of the non-profit organization "Summers Multi-Ethnic Institute of the Arts".

Michito Sanchez is a percussionist. He has worked with many artists including Kenny Loggins, Hanson, Elvis Costello, Toni Braxton and Steve Winwood. He has also performed at the Latin Grammy's with Nelly Furtado.
