Saxophonists

Mike Murley is a saxophonist. He has been named saxophonist of the year eight times by the "Jazz Report Awards" and "National Jazz Awards". He also performs as a sideman with the David Braid Sextet, and the David Occhipinti Quartet.

Martin Speake is a saxophonist. He has performed with Bobo Stenson, Stan Tracey, Bhavani Shankar, Billy Jenkins, Don Weller, and Alison Bentley. He is also a saxophone teacher at Middlesex University.

Quinsin Nachoff is a saxophonist. He has performed at festivals in numerous countries including Australia, New Zealand, Japan and China. He has coached at the Banff Centre for the Arts and currently teaches at the University of Toronto.

Kelly Jefferson is a saxophonist. He has performed with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, The National Arts Centre Orchestra and The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra. He was nominated for Saxophonist of the Year at the 2005 National Jazz Awards.

Kirk MacDonald is a jazz saxophonist. He has worked with many jazz musicians including Dave Young, Kenny Wheeler, Lorne Lofsky, Phil Woods, and John Taylor. He also teaches privately in Toronto and Ottawa.

Phil Dwyer is a saxophonist. He is also a composer, arranger, and musical director. He has performed with artists such as Aretha Franklin, Ian Tyson, Kenny Barron, and Tom Harrell.

Oliver Lake is a saxophonist. He is also a composer and has composed works for the "Pro Musica Chamber Orchestra" and the "Brooklyn Philharmonic". He has performed in Europe, Japan and various U.S. cities.

Nicolas Masson is a saxophonist. He has played with Swiss and foreign musicians such as Kenny Wheeler, Diana Torto, Russ Johnson, Eivind Opsvik, Mark Ferber, Ohad Talmor, and Jim Hershman. He is a graduate from the Conservatoire Populaire de Genève with a degree in music teaching and jazz performance.

Jimmy Hill is a jazz saxophonist. He has appeared in many jazz venues, festivals and concerts throughout New York. He also founded and directed the Youth Theatre Interaction, Inc, an after-school performing arts program for Yonkers and Westchester youth.

Ted Nash is a saxophonist. His television appearances have included the Grammy Awards, the PBS special documentary "Swingin' with the Duke," and several "Live from Lincoln Center" broadcasts with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. He has collaborated with The Augusta Ballet, Zenon Dance Company, and the Orquestra Jazz Sinfonica in Sao Paulo.
