Songwriters & Composers

Jon Drummond is a composer and sound artist. His computer music and installation work has been presented at various Australian and international festivals and galleries including the International Computer Music Conferences in Denmark, Canada, Greece and China. His acoustic and electronic compositions have also been commissioned and performed by leading performers and ensembles around the country.

Kim Richey is a songwriter. She has written or co-written songs for Mary Chapin Carpenter, Trisha Yearwood and James Morrison. Her songs have also been featured in films and television shows such as For The Love Of The Game, Angel, Alias and Grey’s Anatomy.

Bert Wilson is a jazz composer, saxophonist and clarinetist. He plays 5 to 6 octaves on the tenor saxophone. He also pioneered the use of multiphonics on reed instruments.

Laura Nyro was a composer and singer. Her songs have been recorded by artists such as Suzanne Vega, Chet Atkins, Frank Sinatra, and Linda Ronstadt. She had performed in clubs and concert halls throughout America and abroad.

Judson Crane is a composer. He currently works for Fluid Music, a music and video post house in Manhattan.

Jill Townsend is an arranger. She has appeared with Hugh Fraser's Vegi Band, the Fred Stride Jazz Orchestra, and the Vic Vogel Big Band. She is also a trombonist.

Daniel Barry is a composer. He was a featured composer at the 2007 Lima Jazz Festival in Peru. He is also the owner/operator of Marina Music Service and Daniel Barry Publications.

Ayn Inserto is a composer. Her music has been performed at the Berklee Performance Center, California State University of Hayward Jazz Festivals, and Reno Jazz Festival. She is currently an assistant professor at Berklee College of Music.

Norman Orenstein is a composer and producer. He composes and produces music scores for feature films, television movies and television series. He is also the president of Norman Orenstein Music Inc.

Peter Togni is a composer. His choral works are sung by choirs throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. His works have also been released on XXI Records, CBC Records, Hänssler Classics and Warner Classics UK.
