Steven Gutheinz is one of the most promising young film composers on the scene today. His scores range from bombastic, over-the-top, full orchestrations to sparse, rhythmic and spooky chamber group music.

Andrew Hill was a jazz composer and pianist. He was the recipient of the Jazz Journalist Composer of Year Awards for 2000, 2001, 2003 and 2006. Hill died on April 20, 2007.

Sam Anderson is a songwriter from America. He has shared stages with Janis Ian, Jerry Jeff Walker, Mickey Newbury and many others. He recently won three awards at the Hank Williams Song-writing Contest held at the Flatrock Music Festival, including Best Overall Song.

Leroy Anderson was an American Composer of Light Concert Music. His best-known works include Sleigh Ride, The Syncopated Clock and Blue Tango. Leroy died on May 18, 1975 in Woodbury, Connecticut.

Warren Nelson is professional songwriter and musician. He is the resident writer/composer for Lake Superior Big Top Chautuaqua, an all canvas summer tent show in northern Wisconsin. He has been voted best folk musician by Wisconsin Trails Magazine and in 2005 as he received an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Humane Letters from the University of Wisconsin.

Tony Moran is a popular music editor, record producer, songwriter, singer and DJ. He is widely known for his deejaying skills and has written - and remixed music for big stars like Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion, George Michael and Michael Jackson, to name a few.

Wendy Carlos is a composer and synthesist. She was presented with the SEAMUS 2005 Life Achievement Award, in recognition of her groundbreaking work in the electro acoustic world since the '60s.
