Violinists

Brad Leftwich is a fiddler. He has been performing and teaching traditional music for more than 20 years. He tours internationally and has performed at venues from Merlefest to the White House.

Sam Bardfeld is a violinist and composer. He has worked with many artists including Ray Anderson, Elvis Costello, Debbie Harry and Dave Valentin. He is a member of Bruce Springsteen's "Sessions" band and also a member of "The Jazz Passengers".

Vassar Clements was a violinist. He played a wide variety of music including bluegrass, country, pop, rock, jazz and swing. He also played other musical instruments including the viola, cello, bass, guitar and mandolin.

Darol Anger is a violinist. He has worked with numerous musicians such as Stephane Grappelli, Mark O'Connor, David Grisman, Tony Rice, Bela Fleck and Vassar Clements. He teaches regularly at the Berklee School of Music.

Tracy Silverman is a violinist. He has recorded and performed with John Adams, Terry Riley, Zakir Hussain, Daniel Bernard Roumain, and Jim Brickman. He was awarded the "Artist in Residence" status by the city of Hamburg, Germany in 1999.

Bridget Law is a violinist. She has traveled to Europe, the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, Austin TX, Burlington VT, and Scotland. She has played with Michael Franti & Spearhead, George Clinton & P-Funk, Tim O’Brien, Vince Herman & Great American Taxi, and members of the Yonder Mountain String Band.

Jenny Scheinman is a violinist. She has performed and recorded with Bill Frisell, Norah Jones, Madeleine Peyroux, and Marc Ribot. She was voted the #1 Rising Star Violinist in the 2005, 2004 and 2003 Downbeat Critics' Polls.

Mark O'Connor is a violinist and composer. He contributed his talents to the Oscar-nominated score of "The Patriot" and also Ron Maxwell's film, "Gods and Generals". He regularly teaches master classes and has conducted symposia at many schools of music.

Parmela Attariwala is a violinist. She specializes in contemporary, cross-cultural, improvised and performance art music. She has received grants and awards from various organizations including the Canada Council, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Toronto Arts Council.

Adam Bałdych is a violinist. He has performed with numerous artists such as Billy Cobham, Nigel Kennedy, Brad Terry, and Marek Raduli. He has also appeared in many jazz festivals as well as on TV and Radio.
