Members of Parliament

Brad Trost is the member of parliament for Saskatoon-Humboldt. He currently serves as a member of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Natural Resources. He has also served as an elected vice-chair of the Canada-U.S. Parliamentary Association since 2006.

Mark Baker is a member of parliament. He was elected as a Liberal Member of the House of Representatives for the electorate of Braddon in 2004. He was also the president of the "Road Trauma Support Team Northern Tasmania" in 2001.

Linda Jeffrey is a member of provincial parliament. She has also served as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Children and Youth Services. She is currently the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration.

Anna Burke is a member of parliament. She represents the people of Chisholm in Federal Parliament. She is also deputy chair of the Parliamentary Joint Committee on Corporations and Financial Services.

Jim Flaherty is a Member of Parliament for Whitby-Oshawa. He has also served as Attorney General, Minister of Labour, and Solicitor General. He currently resides in Whitby with his wife and children.

Jim Knight is the Labour Member of Parliament for South-Dorset. He was also Minister for Rural Affairs, Landscape and Biodiversity at Defra from 2005-2006. He has special interest in Foreign Policy, Defence, International Development, Rural Affairs, Arts and Sport.

Lim Kit Siang is a member of parliament from the Democratic Action Party (DAP) from Malaysia. He is also the leader of the opposition party. He has served as MP in various constituencies such as "Bandar Melaka", "Kota Melaka", "Petaling Jaya", "Kota Melaka", "Tanjong" and "Ipoh Timur".

Teresa Kok is a member of parliament from the Democratic Action Party (DAP) from Malaysia. She won the the Dewan Rakyat (Lower House) seat of Seputeh in Kuala Lumpur in the 1999 General Elections and was re-elected in 2004. She is currently the National Secretary of DAP Wanita (the women’s wing of the DAP).

Claire Ward is a member of parliament. She was the first female MP for Watford. She was promoted to government whip and Lord Commissioner of HM Treasury on May 2006.

Peter Mackay is the Member of Parliament representing the northern Nova Scotia constituency of Central Nova. He is also the former chair and current member of the Foreign Affairs and National Security committee.
